Laura Abrignani, NP, MSN, MSCP, is Senior Director of Medical Affairs at EncorVita Health and owner of Coastal Well Women: Menopause Health & Midlife Wellness. A Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she has specialized in women’s health and menopause care across Santa Barbara and Los Angeles for more than 30 years, in both public and private settings.
Laura also brings 17 years of pharmaceutical and medical device experience as a senior director and head of Medical Affairs and Professional Education at leading women’s health and aesthetics companies, including Bayer Healthcare, Allergan, Conceptus, Channel Medsystems, Evofem Biosciences, Sinclair Pharma and Suneva Medical.
She completed the Harbor-UCLA Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner program, earned her graduate and undergraduate degrees from California State University, Long Beach and California State University, Los Angeles, and received her nursing degree from the LAC-USC College of Nursing.
Her work at EncorVita grows directly from her clinical practice. She saw a growing number of midlife women seeking current, comprehensive, evidence-based menopause care, and too few providers trained to deliver it. EncorVita lets her serve women directly while helping close the gap in provider education.
A Santa Barbara resident for 28 years, Laura is an active community volunteer. She has been a Big Sister with Family Service Agency, an Ambassador for Unity Shoppe, and a supporter of Transition House’s meal programs and fundraisers. She has also served on the Old Spanish Days-Fiesta Board and the Granada Theatre Board of Directors.
